Halloween is a great holiday to think "crafty". Cards, decor, gift items, party goodies, there are LOTS of things you can create for Halloween.
Today's project is a quick and easy gift idea for teachers, co-workers, neighbors, friends or it would also be perfect as a party favor...
The base is a diecut pillowbox that was cut from orange cardstock. Then, it was stamped randomly using ColorBox Archival Dye Ink in Wicked Black before it was assembled...
The charm was made from polymer clay. A rubber stamp was pushed into the clay to create the pumpkin image, then after the clay was baked, the charm was lightly sprayed with Silver Foil Smooch Spritz, and the design was filled in using Smooch Accent Inks...
This is another kid friendly project; kids could easily stamp the pillowboxes, and help make the charms. And the kiddos would REALLY enjoy filling the boxes with treats! {Especially if they could sneak a few treats for themselves while doing so!} These would make cute little gift card holders too - just add some tissue. Adults would need to help assemble the boxes and to supervise the baking and cooling of the charms.
Here's all you need to know if you'd like to try this project yourself...
