Here's a simple Valentine in rich reds, browns and silvers. I love to layer stamps and inks - ColorBox Fluid Chalks create the background and Valentine motif here. ColorBox Ruby is embossed for the glossy red hearts and simple greeting.
Cherry Pie Designer Foils are used for the shimmery metallic dots underlining "love." The foils are great with Design Adhesives too - I'll be featuring them on more Valentine cards in the next few weeks.

Directions
- Stamp Scalloped Circle on white cardstock with Gray Whale
- Stamp Heart Bird Keepsake over the circle with Dark Brown
- Stamp the hearts (attached to the side of the Love and Hearts stamp) using the stamp positioner and Ruby
- Emboss the hearts
- Trim the cardstock to 3-3/8" wide x 3-5/8" tall and ink the edges with Gray Whale
- Stamp Renaissance Tile on Soiree Cherry Cardstock with Dark Brown
- Trim it to 1-1/4" x 5" and ink the edges with Dark Brown
- Cut a 4-1/4" x 1-7/8" strip of Soiree Cherry Cardstock and ink the edges with Dark Brown
- Stamp "love" on Soiree Silver Cardstock with Ruby and emboss it
- Trim it into a strip and ink the edges with Dark Brown
- Attach five foam dots to the strip and press Cherry Pie Designer Foils onto the adhesive
- Assemble the card, using foam dots to attach the greeting
