Joyful Holidays

Here's the last of this weekend's mitten cards...hope the designs will provide some inspiration for your holiday greetings this year!

Peridot and Ruby Slippers Glitter - and  the new Cherry Pie Designer Foils - add sparkly highlights to another holiday card here.  

Use a soft round paintbrush to add a shimmery layer of glitter to the Fresh Holly Design Adhesives. It's a lot easier and neater than pouring a ton of it onto the adhesive patterns, then having to pour the excess back into the container.  The entire holly pattern  was glittered with Peridot to save time.   I added 1/4" foam dots and Ruby Slippers Glitter to match - but contrast with - the little dots on the gloves.

• Fresh Holly Design Adhesives
• Winter Warmers Design Adhesives
• Peridot Glitter
• Ruby Slippers Glitter
• Cherry Pie Designer Foils
• ColorBox Moss Green Inkpad    
• ColorBox Fluid Chalk Warm Red Inkpad 
• Clear Embossing Powder   

Stamp

• American Art Stamp X-mas Bird Set 

Other Products 

• Bazzill Sour Apple Cardstock (3-1/2" x 7-7/8" card)
• Paper Accents Muslin Textured Cardstock Assortment (green background strip)
• White Cardstock
• Acrylic Stamp Block
• 1/4" Foam Dots
• Soft Round Paintbrush

Directions

• Burnish Fresh Holly Design Adhesives onto the green cardstock
• Use a paintbrush to apply Peridot Glitter to the adhesive pattern
• Trim the cardstock just slightly larger than the pattern
• Attach foam dots to the leaf clusters and press Ruby Slippers into the adhesive
• Burnish the mitten onto white cardstock
• Place a strip of Cherry Pie Designer Foils onto the adhesive pattern (red side up) and burnish it
• Carefully remove the liner
• Cut the cardstock to 1-1/4" x 1-3/4 and ink the edges with Warm Red
• Stamp the greeting onto white cardstock with Moss Green and emboss it
• Cut it into a strip and ink the edges with Warm Red
• Assemble the card, using foam dots for the mitten and greeting
